We have a hybrid working set up and therefore you will be required to attend our Stockholm office minimum twice per week.
About the role
A Chief Information Officer (CIO) is the senior-level executive within an organization responsible for establishing and maintaining the enterprise vision, strategy, and program to ensure information assets and technologies are adequately protected.
The role is broken into three key areas of responsibility:
1. Information security
2. IT, infrastructure and networks
3. Internal data and reporting
As CIO you will be responsible for developing integrated strategies and programs of work covering all three areas listed above delivering maximum value to the business, as well as acting as a chief information security officer (CISO).
The CIO role directs staff in developing, implementing, and maintaining processes across the business for IT procurement, deployment and usage within Quinyx. This role also includes the development and deployment of internal data strategies and assets that can be used by the business for reporting and operations purposes.
The CISO directs staff in identifying, developing, implementing, and maintaining processes across the enterprise to reduce information and information technology (IT) risks. They respond to incidents, establish appropriate standards and controls, manage security technologies, and direct the establishment and implementation of policies and procedures. The CISO is also usually responsible for information-related compliance (e.g. ISO/IEC 27001 and SOC 2 certification).
What you’ll be doing
Develop, implement and monitor a strategic, comprehensive enterprise information security and IT risk management program.
Work directly with the business units to facilitate risk assessment and risk management processes.
Develop and enhance an information security management framework.
Manage the company’s DPO function including establishing and maintaining appropriate GDPR processes and records.
Understand and interact with related disciplines through committees to ensure the consistent application of policies and standards across all technology projects, systems and services.
Provide leadership to the enterprise's information security organization.
Partner with business stakeholders across the company to raise awareness of risk management concerns.
Assist with the overall business technology planning, providing a current knowledge and future vision of technology, data and systems.
Developing internal data and reporting strategies and systems.
Managing IT staff and developing department goals.
Developing and overseeing the IT budget.
Planning, deploying and maintaining IT systems and operations.
Developing IT policies, procedures and best practices.
Staying updated on IT trends and emerging technologies.
Developing and enforcing IT best practices across the organization.
Ensuring IT strategies and processes support company-wide goals.
Overseeing relationships with vendors, contractors and service providers.
Explaining to the board of directors and other executives the benefits and risks of new IT-related projects.
What you’ll bring to the team
Degree in business administration or a technology-related field required.
Professional security management certification.
Extensive experience in a combination of risk management, information security and IT jobs.
Knowledge of common regulatory and information security management frameworks, such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, SOC 2 and GDPR.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high level of personal integrity.
Innovative thinking and leadership with an ability to lead and motivate cross-functional, interdisciplinary teams.
Experience with contract and vendor negotiations and management including managed services.
Specific experience in agile software development or other best in class development practices.
Ability to articulate IT security and technical issues in a non-threatening, clear and actionable manner to non-technical leadership.
Knowledge of regulation and standards compliance.
Proficiency in establishing IT services framework and IT security policies.
Internal data strategies and reporting frameworks.
Data quality initiatives and processes.
Master data management principles and information system design.
