About the role 

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with a strong technical background to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable data pipelines, shaping our data architecture, and ensuring the reliability and quality of data across the organization. You’ll work on a variety of projects, from building new data solutions to improving existing infrastructure, while collaborating closely with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders. This is a great opportunity to have a direct impact on how data powers our products and decisions, while also growing your expertise in modern data technologies.

What you’ll be doing

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, reusable data pipelines and architectures.
  

• Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability across the organization.
  

• Provide strategic guidance on data solutions to support business growth.
  

• Lead high-impact projects and cross-functional collaborations.
  

• Own the architecture and design of data systems; drive adoption of new tools and technologies.
  

• Establish best practices, reusable frameworks, and high standards for data engineering.
  

• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and foster a culture of technical excellence.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Strong expertise in SQL, data modeling, and at least one programming language (Python, Scala, or Java).
  

• Deep experience with AWS data services (Redshift, Glue, EMR, Athena, S3, Lambda, ECS).
  

• Hands-on with distributed data processing and workflow orchestration tools (e.g., Airflow, Step Functions).
  

• Proven track record designing ETL/ELT pipelines, data warehouses, and CDC solutions.
  

• Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CDK) a plus.
  

• Ability to solve complex data challenges at scale, including real-time analytics.
  

• Strong architecture, design, and problem-solving skills.
  

• Excellent collaboration and communication skills; comfortable working with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  

• Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and mentoring others.
