About the role 

As a Java developer, you will be part of a cross-functional team that includes frontend and backend engineers, QA specialists, designers, and product and engineering managers. Together, you’ll contribute to building services that help our users optimize their companies’ schedules by enhancing efficiency, providing insights, and analyzing data. In this role, you will also collaborate closely with our AI engineers.

What you’ll be doing

• Be a member of an Agile product development team, bringing new ideas and designing solutions from start to finish.

• Work with the latest technologies, including Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, PostgreSQL

• Collaborate closely with other engineers to design, implement, and maintain high-performance backend services and APIs

• Participate in pair programming and code reviews, contribute to the team's development

What you’ll bring to the team

• 1 - 3 years of previous commercial experience in backend development

• Proficient in Java

• Hands-on experience with relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases

• A natural curiosity and eagerness to learn and experiment with new technologies

The WOW-factor

• Experience with the Spring Boot framework.

• Experience with event-driven systems using Kafka.

• Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
