What you’ll do

The Sales Engineer will provide a technical and selling partnership to sales representatives during the sales process. This is done by identifying customer’s technical and business requirements, prior to designing a solution, consulting with technical teams about capabilities and supporting other business sales teams, directors and partners on proposal activities. The Sales Engineer will drive sales processes from a technical standpoint whilst being able to simply and accurately describe and demonstrate Quinyx’s offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Attend meetings with potential clients to determine technical and business requirements and ensuring that all necessary information is collated prior to producing a solution
  • Provide technical solutions in a professional manner and to agreed timeframes
  • Deliver demonstrations and/or training on solutions to potential customers and sales teams, and provide product support to channel partners and internal stakeholders
  • Create internal design configuration documentation including diagrams with technical explanations
  • Create and maintain documentation to educate customers and internal sales teams on the capability of Quinyx’s solutions.
  • Work with the Product Management, R&D and Professional Services teams to feedback on  current products and provide input around new products
  • Provide accurate and timely information to teammates and management, to include activity reports, bid reviews, project forecasts, KPI’s
  • Work with existing customers to help drive engagement into other areas of their businesses

Skills

  • To understand business drivers and risks involved to the customer and to Quinyx
  • Be able to sell technical solutions to the customer with professionalism and enthusiasm
  • Being analytical and a “people person” with a great, humble attitude
  • Be curious. Be very curious.
  • Confidence in public speaking / demonstrating
  • Able to travel frequently
  • Has a desire to stay up to date with technology trends
  • A true team player with a willingness to share knowledge and experience
  • Supporting Business Development Managers and providing advice on how to best proceed with sales opportunities
  • Fluent in English
