About the role
As a Product Designer, you will have lots of freedom, responsibility, and a unique opportunity to influence the product’s direction and development. You will join a team of 8 product designers constantly focusing on improving our product to create an excellent experience for our clients and end users.
Right now we are looking to strengthen the product area we call Engage. In the Engage area you will take part in designing experiences focused on the front line employees. You will design mobile and web experiences that help employees feel more engaged and in control of their work life. You will work as a team member in an agile, cross-functional, and distributed development team. You will also work alongside a senior product designer in the product area.
What you’ll be doing
Together with your team, you find solutions for our products that are desirable (meet users’ needs), viable (meet business goals) and feasible (can be implemented).
Together with Product Managers, you develop an understanding of end user goals, needs and behaviours by planning and executing user research activities like interviews, observations, usability tests, surveys, etc.
You facilitate problem solving (e.g. discover opportunities, understand requirements, define solutions) within and outside your team, for example by running workshops.
You ideate design solutions in a divergent way, exploring a broad problem space.
You design the look, feel and function of our digital products by using design methods like wireframes, mockups, prototypes, animations, flow diagrams, etc.
You make sure that design requirements are translated into developed solutions in an efficient way, for example by providing specifications to developers and discussing implementation solutions with the team.
You stay on top of the latest trends and standards in the design field and work to make our user experience best-in-class.
You ensure that your designs are always validated with end users, for example through usability testing.
You share your work with other designers and ensure that your designs have always been reviewed by your peers before they are finalised. You contribute knowledge and ideas to improve your colleagues’ designs.
You contribute to the creation and maintenance of our Design System.
You ensure that your designs are inclusive and accessible and follow any standards we have regarding accessibility, device support, etc.
You participate in the agile workflow of your team and represent design in activities like planning, goal setting, evaluation, etc
What you’ll bring to the team
Theoretical and practical experience from a broad set of core Product Design activities like User Research, Interaction Design, Visual Design and Usability Evaluation.
A strong ambition to grow in your role and to actively learn from more senior colleagues.
A disposition to take initiative and be proactive.

A couple of years experience working with product design and/or a solid academic education in a relevant field.
