About the role 

You will join a fantastic finance team as an Accountant. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of accounting information within the Quinyx group, primarily working with the Swedish entity. Furthermore, with Quinyx's rapid growth, you will take a central part in the continued development of Quinyx's global financial processes. And you will manage different accounting-related development projects and processes to improve the accounting way of working.

What you’ll be doing

• Proactively developing, implementing, and improving Quinyx's accounting processes, routines, and working methods together with the Head of Accounting to enable the company's strong growth and international expansion. In particular, actively improve the use and implementation of our accounting system.
• Driving the monthly close of the Swedish entities and making sure numbers are correctly reported in a timely manner.
• Making sure cash balances within the group are accurately reflected in the accounting system and Swedish VAT is correctly reported. Further, submitting a cash flow forecast on a weekly basis.
• Preparing fast and fair annual accounts including running reports on accounts payable and bank reconciliations.
• Supporting our Financial Controller in monthly reporting with any deep dives into the numbers as needed.
• Supporting with the preparation of annual reports, tax returns, and declarations.
• Working alongside our Head of Accounting on external audits.
• Assuring compliance with Swedish GAAP (K3) and Swedish VAT and tax norms. Please note that accounting principles might change over time.
• Assisting your team members as well as external contacts on accounting-related questions.
• Speaking Fluent English and Swedish.

• Solid Accounting experience. 
• Be analytical, a problem-solver, solution-oriented, and able to eliminate obstacles through creative and adaptive thinking.
• Be amazing at developing effective working relationships externally and internally at various levels and departments.
• Have a self-starter attitude with the ability to get up to speed on complex & difficult concepts.

The WOW-factor

• Knowledge and experience of IFRS and Netsuite.
• Working for SaaS or a technology company.
