Position Overview
The goal of a Revenue Operations model is to better align the commercial teams, assets, systems, and processes around a coherent set of customer and company goals to accelerate revenue, profit, and value growth.
As the Head of Revenue Operations NA, you will work across the operations of Sales, Marketing and Customer Success departments, creating and driving new business initiatives and efficiencies. Further, the role will ensure that the interactions and processes are aligned with the larger company-wide strategy dictated by leadership across the company. The Head of Revenue Operations NA role represents the needs of sales in meetings and cross-functional projects and acts as a liaison for sales with other parts of the organization.
This role will report to the VP Revenue Operations and will have the main responsibility of supporting our North American operations, but will in cooperation with the equivalent role supporting EMEA split/share responsibilities globally.
Main responsibilities:
- Oversee, manage and suggest improvements for business processes and the sales structure of the organization
- Monitor the overall performance of sales to ensure seamless operations through quick processing of business opportunities
- Identify opportunities to drive revenue, such as go-to-market tactics to streamline and improve the sales process and the customer lifecycle
- Work cross-functionally with sales, customer success, business operations, finance, product, marketing teams, and other stakeholders to share insights and centralize information
- Support the territory planning process, including alignment on total addressable market, pipeline management and quota attainment for the North America operations
- Partner with Sales and Marketing to drive existing and help develop new strategies to drive Pipeline and conversion. Monitor performance of these strategies to implement actions that accelerate conversion from lead to deal.
- Partner with Sales Enablement to guide and where appropriate, lead programs that elevate the development of the salespeople and sales leadership.
- Oversee systems and data administration and recommend tools to improve data quality, analysis, and reporting
- Manage dashboards and reports enabling teams to easily understand business health and goal attainment level
- Partner with leadership to operationalize and analyze the impact of business initiatives
- Support financial reporting processes and carry out forecasts using predictive models/tools to identify and adjust accordingly to factors with possible effects on sales
- Support the revenue team business operations with day-2-day business processes
FURTHER ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Provide directions to the teams under the scope of responsibility. Establishes and communicates goals and objectives for the teams that are in line with the corporate direction.
- Contribute to hiring and terminations. Reviews individual and team performance and provides constructive feedback. Possesses specialized expertise in one or more functional areas.
- Manage and coordinate sales activities and programs including, but not limited to, new hire training program, continuing education/training events, and major sales initiatives
- Contribute to the strategic discussion around buyer personas, target markets, etc. Recommend sales methodologies that Quinyx should consider and employ
- Manage sales process adoption and compliance. Pioneers the discovery and adoption of tools that will streamline the sales process.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the current CRM program and work with the sales team to keep information current.
- Coordinate and manage targeted vertical market sales programs.
- Compile and produce sales reports as needed.
- Analyze sales data to develop insights and make recommendations on areas for optimization.
- Support all business development and lead generation efforts; is familiar with all lead sources and how to research/mine data within these sources.
- Research and gather content/messaging to support sales efforts; store all information in a common location and share regularly with the sales team. Act as a resource for information.
- Maintain an up‐to‐date understanding of all marketing tools and other primary vendors.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 5+ years of experience - 2+ in a sales role and 2+ in Sales Operations
- B2B SaaS experience required
- Proficiency with Salesforce
- Proficiency with Google Suite
- The ability to understand the strategic direction and goals of the Sales department and support appropriate processes to facilitate achievement of business objectives
- Well-developed capabilities in problem-solving and crafting efficient processes
- A result and success-oriented mentality, conveying a sense of urgency and driving issues to closure
- An ability to initiate and build relationships with people in an open, friendly, and accepting manner
- An innate drive to innovate and optimize the use of available resources
- Comfort with adapting and adjusting to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
